To those reading,

As the CEO and sole name attached to Loner Sport, I wanted to make a clear statement on what it is our (my) brand is committed to. I believe that we are all experiencing, and seemingly coming to the end of, a several years-long transitional phase both societally and personally, and Loner Sport is my direct response to this.

Loner Sport is meant to represent the things that we find ourselves getting into whether personally or interpersonally when we have nobody but ourselves to rely on. The perseverance of the individual who is down on their luck, but fearless in their fight to reclaim themselves and re-establish themselves within their respectively desired communities. This is not a glorification or promotion of intense solitude/loneliness, but instead an understanding of the harsh reality that sometimes, all we've got is ourselves.

In it's current state, LS is very bare bones. There's a few shirts out, I have way more on hand than what is reasonable based on demand so far (fingers crossed that improves), have just recently begun to release music via the "Loner Sport Records" label (official by name only), and a massive tangle of wires in my head of ideas for Loner Sport in the future. So for you (but mostly for me) I want to establish the path of LS from this point onward in writing.

Loner Sport will be an all-in-one center for my creations while also being a hub for highlighting the creativity and achievements of those besides me. 

In terms of my creations, this presently includes t-shirts and a 5 track beat tape, but this will expand as this journey I've set myself on progresses. This will expand to endeavors in fashion beyond simple graphic tees, music from myself and others collaborators that come along, prints/canvasses of paintings/drawings, cartoon strips, a music blog/independent publication (I really wanna make a Loner Sport magazine), short films, long films, medium films, animations, skate videos... quite literally whatever I put my mind to that has the space to exist under this brand name.  

In terms of highlighting those beyond myself, this will mean a few things. Firstly, I am kicking off the blog section of this website with the intent of making it a hub for my writings on music and art (If you've known me long enough you may remember that I was a music journalist in college, albeit a lazy one). This means album/film reviews, artist interviews, retrospectives, write-ups of any kind with the intent of commenting on the ever-changing state of arts and culture, and putting a, presently very dim, spotlight on the creators, past, present, and future, that I feel the world deserves to know about (although I might also hate on some people we'll see). 

My hope is that over the course of time, LS will grow to be not only a place for me to succeed and spread my light throughout the world that accepts it, but also a place that can prove to be a serious launchpad for success and provide a strong network for other artists/creators to collaborate to make their own dreams a reality, and spread their own light across channels.

So that's it. I'm stamping it right now. Loner Sport will be a staple in music and arts by the time it's all said and done. 

We won't have to be alone anymore.
